1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MoonMatrimony ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including free and paid members.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 years of age or older to register
- You must be legally eligible to marry under applicable laws
- You must provide accurate and truthful information
- You must not have a criminal record related to matrimonial fraud
- Only one account per person is allowed
- Creating fake or duplicate profiles is strictly prohibited
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others
- All information provided must be accurate and up-to-date
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access
- Your profile photo must be a genuine recent photo of yourself
- Family members may assist in creating profiles with the user's consent
4. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on MoonMatrimony:
- Creating false, misleading, or fraudulent profiles
- Impersonating another person or entity
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening other members
- Sending unsolicited commercial messages or spam
- Using the platform for any illegal purpose
- Attempting to extract personal data of members for non-matrimonial purposes
- Uploading obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Misrepresenting marital status, age, or any personal information
- Scraping or copying profile data using automated tools
- Circumventing payment or subscription systems
5. Subscription & Payments
- Free users get 3 interest requests per week
- Silver Plan (₹999/3 months): 30 interests/week, view contacts
- Gold Plan (₹1,999/6 months): Unlimited interests, messaging, priority listing
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
- Subscription activates immediately upon successful payment
- Plans do not auto-renew; you must manually renew
- Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes
6. No Guarantee of Marriage
MoonMatrimony is a matchmaking platform only. We do NOT guarantee marriage, successful matches, or any specific outcomes. We provide a platform to connect individuals seeking matrimonial alliances. The decision to marry is entirely between the individuals and their families. We make no claims of "guaranteed marriage" or "guaranteed matches."
7. Content Moderation & Reporting
- All profiles are reviewed by our admin team before going live
- We reserve the right to reject or remove any profile without notice
- Users can report inappropriate profiles or behaviour
- Reported profiles are reviewed within 48 hours
- Accounts found violating terms will be permanently banned
- We maintain zero tolerance for harassment and fraud
8. Limitation of Liability
MoonMatrimony is not liable for: any inaccuracies in member profiles, actions of members outside the platform, any loss arising from use or inability to use the platform, decisions made by users based on platform information. We strongly advise members to independently verify information before proceeding.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms & Conditions without prior notice. Users may also delete their own account at any time by contacting support.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India.
